Overview
Espionage lets players gather intelligence on enemy ship designs. The system is fully deterministic — success depends on a score comparison, not dice rolls.
Spy Levels

| 2 | Module types installed |
| 3 | Exact blueprint layout and power distribution |
Higher intel levels allow more precise counter-build strategies.
Resolution Formula
The outcome is threshold-based:

|---|---|
| ≥ level threshold | Success — intel revealed |
| < threshold | Failure — mission detected or no intel |
Both attacker's espionage rating and defender's counterintelligence rating come from the tech tree (Administration branch).
